Miliswa Mlokoti started her professional career at Telkom SA in 1999 for a period of 4 years before joining Eskom in 2003. In Eskom, she spent 15 years in different business units, that is, Koeberg Nuclear Power Station, Eskom Dx, Eskom Tx and Eskom Rotek Industries of which 10yrs were spent in different leadership roles
Miliswa Mlokoti started her professional career at Telkom SA in 1999 for a period of 4 years before joining Eskom in 2003. In Eskom, she spent 15 years in different business units, that is, Koeberg Nuclear Power Station, Eskom Dx, Eskom Tx and Eskom Rotek Industries of which 10yrs were spent in different leadership roles within the Eskom project management environment.
She joined the renewable industry in 2018 as a O&M Plant Manager for WC1 Wind Farm, Aurora and Vrendendal Solar Farms, all three under ENGIE SA. She also managed operations & maintenance for Kangnas Wind Farm in Springbok, Northern Cape under Mainstream Renewable Power.
She is currently the Senior Operations Manager at Globeleq South Africa Management Services in Claremont, Western Cape, leading the Technical Shared Services team.
She holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (College of Cape Town), BTech in Project Management (Cape Peninsula University of Technology), Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management (University of Stellenbosch), Operations Management (University of Cape Town) and is busy pursuing an MBA in Energy & Sustainability (University of Cumbria, Zurich).
She is a member of the SAIEE, PMSA, SAWEA Asset Working Group and the Gender Diversity Working Group where she holds the role of Deputy Chairperson. She took part in the 2021 WeConnect mentoring
