Globeleq Scholarships
Globeleq is investing well over two million rand to develop young engineering students in the renewable energy industry. GSAMS launched its scholarship programme to help meet the demand within the industry for qualified engineers, create a skills pipeline and support and contribute to the industry and the country.
The Globeleq Scholarship Fund (GSF) was launched in 2014. It is managed by Globeleq South Africa Management Services (GSAMS) and is funded by GSAMS’ independent power producers (IPPs) and one of its shareholders, the Globeleq Educational Trust (GET). To date, approximately R13.1 million has been awarded in bursaries.
