Globeleq is the majority shareholder and operator of three independent power producing utility projects: De Aar Solar Power, Droogfontein Solar Power, and Jeffreys Bay Wind Farm.
Our flagship scholarship and internship programme develops young mechatronics and electrical engineering students; creating a skills pipeline, which contributes to the blossoming renewable energy industry and the country as a whole.
Our localised economic development programmes will receive over R60 million from us over the first 3 years of operations, impacting more than 90 000 households across 115 beneficiary programmes.
